IT'S BEEN AWHILE

It's been some time since I have posted to the blog, which I apologize.  There is just not enough hours in the day. We had a fantastic winter at the Dawg and we thank YOU our customers for that.  The NFL Sunday ticket was a great success and we plan on having that for viewing pleasure next season also.  We also added NCAA March Madness, which our customers enjoyed.  Now it is summer and we have MLB extra innings, where can watch your favorite team even if it isn't the Pirates.  You can watch any Major League baseball game.  So if your favorite team is the Yankees, Phillies, Dodgers, or any other team, we invite you to come down to the Dawg and check it out. We continue to strive to be Patton's only true sports bar.  During the winter we added more menu items for your dining pleasure.  We now have the "NEW THIRSTY DAWG T-shirts in and they have been going like hotcakes.  Don't despair because we are continually ordering new ones, so if we don't have the color or the size you want, we can order it for you and have it in a reasonably short time.  We plan on adding some new items for specials in the near future.   We have added some new wines to our expanding wine list.  We now have Lambrusco, Red Cat and White Cat. Also we have brought in some entertainment during the winter months.  We have had Tom Yannitelli doing accoustics on some Wednesday nights.  We have also had Patton's Dean of DJ's Wild Willie for a couple of appearances.  Upcoming in May, we have booked Tom Yannitelli for a return engagement.  The Royal Knights DJ's will make their Thirsty Dawg debut on May 1.  Also, The Dawg brings back Wild Willie on Sunday May 30(the day before Memorial Day for another appearance.  There is no work for most people on Memorial Day, so come over to the Dawg and help us bring in the unofficial beginning of summer with the "Wild Man".  Finally we have some promotions coming up in the not too distant future.  "Toss Up Tuesday" is a promotion that to the best of our knowledge has never been tried anywhere in the local area.  It is a way to potentially reward our current customers and to entice people that have never tried our food to check us out.  Details will be forthcoming.  In conclusion, we will be doing some drink specials this summer which we call the Dawg days of summer.  Thanks everybody for a great first 9 months in business, and we are striving to make your Dawg experience even better.  If you have any suggestions regarding our business don't hesitate to contact us at management@thethirstydawg.com or in person.  Thanks again from all of your friends at the Thirsty Dawg.
